Kindred Spirit Services, LLC provides supervised parenting time, monitored exchanges, transportation support, documentation, and related court-connected services in Mesa County and surrounding areas.

Our fees reflect the time, preparation, safety planning, documentation, professional boundaries, and liability involved in providing structured, neutral, child-focused services.

All services must be approved in advance. All fees are subject to change. Updated fees apply to future services.
 

Intake & Orientation

Each parent must complete intake and orientation before services are scheduled.

Service Fee

Parent Intake / Orientation--$100 per parent

Updated Intake Review after 6 months or major court-order change--$50

Rush Intake within 48 hours, if accepted Additional--$75

The intake fee is non-refundable and includes review of court orders, safety screening, case setup, policy review, and communication expectations.

If a court order states that one parent is responsible for all fees, that parent is responsible for paying both intake fees.

Virtual Supervised Parenting Time--$65/hr

Minimum: 1 hour

Payment: Required in advance
 

Kindred Spirit Services, LLC may determine the appropriate supervision level based on safety concerns, communication concerns, case complexity, court-order requirements, parent behavior, child needs, or operational demands.
 

High-conflict or specialized rates may apply when a case requires increased documentation, added safety planning, increased communication management, stricter boundaries, or additional staff involvement.
 

Community Corrections Access Rate

Kindred Spirit Services, LLC recognizes that some parents are participating in Community Corrections, reentry services, probation, parole, treatment, or other court-connected support programs. These programs often involve strict budgeting and financial limitations.
 

To support safe, structured parent-child contact when appropriate, Kindred Spirit Services, LLC may offer a reduced Community Corrections Access Rate.
 

This rate is limited, discretionary, and must be approved in writing before services are schedule.

Verification Required

To qualify, the requesting parent may be required to provide verification of current participation in one or more of the following:

• Community Corrections

• Reentry services

• Probation

• Parole

• Court-connected treatment

• DHS-involved services

• Other approved court-connected support services

Verification may include written confirmation from a case manager, probation officer, parole officer, attorney, DHS worker, treatment provider, or other approved professional.
 

Community Corrections Access Rate Limitations
 

The Community Corrections Access Rate applies only to standard services approved by Kindred Spirit Services, LLC.

The reduced rate does not automatically apply to:

• Structured or moderate-conflict supervision

• High-conflict supervision

• High-risk supervision

• Dual-supervisor supervision

• Holiday or limited-availability services

• Travel, mileage, or transportation fees

• Reports or formal documentation

• Court-related fees

• Excessive communication fees

• Late fees

• Cancellation fees

• No-show fees

• Administrative fees
   

Kindred Spirit Services, LLC may deny, modify, suspend, or remove the Community Corrections Access Rate at any time based on safety concerns, case complexity, payment history, missed visits, communication issues, staffing limitations, or policy violations.
 

Approval of a reduced rate does not waive any policy requirement. All parents must still follow court orders, payment policies, staff directives, communication rules, and all Kindred Spirit Services, LLC guidelines.

All reduced-rate services must be paid in advance unless otherwise approved in writing.
 

Holidays & Limited Availability

Holiday and limited-availability rates may apply to visits or exchanges occurring on or near:

• Thanksgiving

• Christmas Eve

• Christmas Day

• New Year’s Eve

• New Year’s Day

• Mother’s Day

• Father’s Day

• Halloween

• Easter

• Spring Break

• Winter Break

• Other high-demand or limited-availability dates

Holiday and limited-availability services must be approved in advance.
 

Monitored Exchanges

Service Fee

Standard Monitored Exchange--$45 per exchange

High-Conflict / Staggered Exchange--$65 per exchange

Holiday Exchange--$75 per exchange

Late Arrival / Late Pickup--$2/min after the first 5 minutes
 

Standard exchanges include up to 15 minutes. Exchanges lasting longer than 15 minutes may be billed in additional 15-minute increments at the applicable exchange rate.
 

Parents must follow all staff instructions during exchanges. Conflict, delay, refusal to follow instructions, or attempts to engage the other parent may result in additional fees, documentation, suspension, or termination of services.
 

Travel & Transportation Fees

Mileage--$0.75/mile round trip

Travel Time--$50/hr

Wait Time--$2/min after the first 5 minutes

Extended Distance Fee--Additional $25 for trips over 30 miles round trip

Car Seat Rental, if available--$15 per transport
 

Transportation and travel services must be approved in advance. Kindred Spirit Services, LLC may decline transportation or travel requests based on safety, distance, staffing, weather, child needs, or operational concerns.
 

Reports & Documentation

Basic observation notes are included with supervised parenting time. Formal reports, summaries, expedited requests, and court-related documents are billed separately.

Reports are factual, neutral, and observational. Kindred Spirit Services, LLC does not provide custody recommendations, parenting evaluations, legal opinions, mental health opinions, or clinical conclusions.

Reports are not modified to match either parent’s preferred wording, position, or interpretation.
 

Communication & Administrative Fees

Kindred Spirit Services, LLC requires communication to remain logistical, child-focused, and appropriate.

Excessive communication may include repeated messages, argumentative messages, non-logistical communication, demands for immediate response, attempts to influence documentation, or continued communication after a matter has already been addressed.
 

Kindred Spirit Services, LLC may restrict communication, require written-only communication, require attorney-only communication, apply administrative fees, suspend services, or terminate services when communication becomes excessive, hostile, disruptive, or outside the scope of services.
 

Court-Related Fees

Court involvement requires advance payment. A subpoena may be required.

Travel to Court--$50/hr + $0.75/mile

Subpoena Processing / Records Review--$150 minimum
 

Court fees must be paid in advance. Court-related fees are non-refundable once time has been reserved, records have been reviewed, or preparation has begun.
 

Kindred Spirit Services, LLC does not provide legal opinions, custody recommendations, parenting evaluations, or litigation strategy.
 

Cancellation, No-Show & Lateness Policy

Sessions are not extended due to late arrival. Fees are charged for reserved time, staff availability, preparation, and scheduling, not for a guaranteed outcome.
 

Payment Methods

Accepted payment methods:

Checks and money orders are not accepted.

All fees must be paid before services occur. Services may be denied, suspended, or canceled if payment is not received.
 

Non-Refundable Payment Policy

All payments are non-refundable, including but not limited to:

• Intake fees

• Confirmed sessions

• Canceled sessions

• No-shows

• Late arrivals

• Child refusal

• Early termination of a visit

• Termination of services

• Dissatisfaction with services

• Disputes between parents

• Court outcomes or pending court matters
   

Unused prepaid balances remain as agency credit for up to 12 months unless otherwise stated in writing. Prepaid balances are not refundable.
 

Suspension for Non-Payment

Services may be suspended if an account has an outstanding balance. Kindred Spirit Services, LLC is not required to schedule, confirm, provide, or continue services until all balances are paid in full.

Chargebacks, payment disputes, or reversed payments may result in immediate suspension, termination of services, and collection action.
 

Fee Adjustments

Kindred Spirit Services, LLC may update fees at any time. Updated fees apply to future services, future reports, future court-related work, and any service not already fully paid and completed.

Continued use of services after a fee update constitutes acceptance of the updated fee schedule.
 

Important Service Notice

Kindred Spirit Services, LLC is a neutral third-party service provider. We do not provide legal advice, therapy, counseling, custody recommendations, parenting evaluations, mental health evaluations, or guarantees regarding court outcomes.
 

All services are child-focused, non-clinical, observational, and subject to Kindred Spirit Services, LLC guidelines and policies.
